Did you know that you can schedule a meeting with your legislators in their offices at the state capitol? Our legislative team has set aside this time to prep you before your scheduled meeting and even attend alongside you.
Step One: Fill out this form, which will help you and us know WHO your representatives in the Georgia House and Senate are. (hint: You will discover their contact information this way!)
Step Two: Contact your representative by calling their Capitol Office and asking for an appointment. Tell them you want to speak to your representative about the Georgia Licensed Midwife Act. Make the appointment for the date of this event between 1 and 3 pm, if possible. We are also available in the morning.
Step Three: Sign up using the form below so that we know you are coming! You will be contacted by a member of our team.
Step Four: Show up a little before your appointment on your day! We will meet you in our sponsors office. You will be prepped, handed information, and hopefully accompanied to your legislators office.

Someone from our legislative team will meet you in our bill sponsor Rep. Karen Mathiak’s office. This is a soft place to land, ask questions, breastfeed a baby, leave your coats/belongings and catch your breath.
