Improving Birth Options in Georgia starts with you.

1

Find out who represents you in the General Assembly.

Go to this site and enter your address. We need you to talk to your representatives in the Georgia House and Senate.

Once you know who your representatives are in the Georgia House and Georgia State Senate, please fill out this form so we can know who represents us!

We may contact you for help letting your representatives know that someone in their district supports midwifery.

Donate

Those who oppose midwifery have deep pockets. In order to influence policy on birth options, we must retain a lobbyist. Any amount contributes to this enormous cost. Donate now!

Show up

Georgia General Assembly works on a 40 day work year. Session starts in January and continues until the beginning of April. During this time we will have Midwife Lobby Days when you can come to the Capitol in Atlanta and meet your representative to discuss midwifery. Don’t worry! We will train you and go with you in many cases. Additionally, other times of the year you can request a meeting in your home town with your representatives. Make sure you have entered your email address here so that you don’t miss updates or opportunities to show up!
