📢 Calling All Advocates for Midwifery! 🤰👶
It’s time to make our voices heard! Join us in lobbying for Midwifery Licensure and ensuring that midwives have the professional recognition and support they deserve to provide safe, quality care to families. This has been a fun day in the past- families and midwives unite at the Georgia State Capitol Building to talk with legislators about why midwifery care is changing people’s lives!

🔑 Why This Matters:
Direct-entry midwives currently face risk of prosecution for practicing without a license. Midwifery care is vital for the health and well-being of families. By supporting licensure, we’re advocating for safer births, more accessible care options, and better outcomes for all. Your midwives need your support so that we can continue serving you.

Show your support at the Capitol and beyond! This design celebrates the work that midwives do across the great state of Georgia, and the coalition of midwives that have come together for freedom. Suggested donation for a shirt is $25. This is "pay what you can", suggested amounts are $10, $25, or $50. All proceeds go directly to the t-shirt manufacturer, a local home birth supporter. Note that t-shirt color may vary from shown. T-shirts will be distributed at the Capitol on Lobby For Midwives Day 2/5/25 10:30am-12:30 pm
